Im as cool as a TYPE R now!

Ok, not really, but had some extra SQUARE TUBING left over.....and got bored....

You know how TYPE R's have that "brace bar" on the BACK of the hatch? The one opposite side of the taillights.....

Well, if you look close, there are "knock-outs" in the plastic panel. Punch those out, and it exposes some metric threads(forgot what size). These holes/threads are used in 2000 integras, and are part of the UNIT-BODY. They are MEANT for CHILD SEAT SAFETY ANCHORS!

Well, i jus used some long bolts, and some medium sized washers, and that piece of square tubing......LOOKS GOOG!

Can i tell a difference?! OH YOU BET I CAN WOW!!!!! I think my car is faster cause of the 3 bux i spent went from my pocket to HOME DEPOT's pocket!

Overall, keeps that back panel from rattling, when the BASS kicks in...

Lundgren, im pretty sure all 94 up integras have them.....mine is a 96, so im pretty sure yours does.....

Seems like if you install the hatch brace, along with the upper rear strut brace, seems that there SHOULD be a way of "connecting" or "joining" both into one big "subframe" re-inforcement.... maybe, hell, who knows?!
